What the authority issues

A signature confirms that you signed a document and that it has not changed since. A power of attorney lets an employee or another person act on the principal’s behalf for a set period.

Identity verification without visiting an office

Before issuing a signature or a power of attorney, the authority confirms that the applicant is the owner of the identity document. Everything happens online, and an administrator decides on every application.

  • An identity document: passport, ID card, driving licence or residence permit
  • Biometric verification in an external identification service: the document and the face are matched automatically
  • Organizations and sole proprietors attach organization documents: up to 10 PDF files of 10 MB each
  • An administrator of the authority reviews the application and approves the issue

Where the signature is valid

An A3.CA signature confirms the author and the integrity of documents in A3 ecosystem services. The parties recognise it under a contract between them, as allowed by Article 7(3) of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan “On Electronic Document and Electronic Digital Signature”. It is not a certificate of an accredited certification authority, so government portals require a signature from the National Certification Authority of Kazakhstan.
